This is a known issue in the Windows Vista and Windows 7 operating systems. Your system display font may be set to a larger-than-normal size, which results in the fonts on the graph labels being larger than the space allotted for them in the lab screen, and therefore not displaying properly (getting cut off).
Changing the system font size in Windows Vista/Windows 7/Windows 8
To change the system font size in Vista:
- Go to Control Panel
- Select Personalization
- Select adjust font size from left hand toolbar
- Select set to default scale
- Select Apply then save, or just save if apply is not available.
To change the system font size in Windows 7:
- Close any open programs to save your work, including SimUText.
- Go to Control Panel
- Select Display
- Click the option for 'Smaller -- 100% (default)'
- Click Apply.
- Log out of your user session, as prompted.
- Log in again, and then re-launch SimUText
To change the system font size in Windows 8:
- Close any open programs to save your work, including SimUText.
- Go to Control Panel
- Select Appearance and Personalization
- Select Display
- Click the option for 'Smaller -- 100% (default)'
- Click Apply.
- Log out of your user session, as prompted.
- Log in again, and then re-launch SimUText
