Error: Submitting Answers Saved While You Were Offline

On 7/1/16 for Canada, and on 7/8/16 for the U.S., we performed an update to our servers which created a mismatch between our code and the local cache file on the student's computer which results in the error, "Submitting answers saved while you were offline".  The local cache file will need to be removed. Unfortunately, if there are any answers that were not submitted before the update, removing the cache file will also erase those answers.

WINDOWS:

  • First, jot down your answers to the questions or take a screen shot (if possible).
  • Quit the SimUText application.
  • Navigate to your C Drive > Users > Your User Account and delete the SimUText folder you see there.
  • Relaunch SimUText, sign in, and try again to submit your answers.

MAC:

  • First, jot down your answers to the questions or take a screen shot (if possible).
  • Quit the SimUText application.
  • Navigate to your Hard Drive > Users > Home and delete the SimUText folder you see there. (Let me know if you need help finding your Home directory.)
  • Relaunch SimUText, sign in, and try again to submit your answers.
