If you are using the "Dark Mode" (available on Mac OSX Mojave and later) on your device, you may experience difficulties viewing some of the SimUText components. Dark Mode could affect the visualization of system widgets like drop-down menus and text boxes.
In order to see things properly in your SimUText assignments, you may need to switch out of Dark Mode while completing your assignments as follows:
Choose Apple menu > System Preferences, click General, then select one of the Appearance options at the top of the window:
- Light: Use the light appearance.
- Dark: Use the dark appearance.
- Auto (available in macOS Catalina): Automatically use the light appearance during the day, and the dark appearance at night.
